and MIMS New Ethicals free for years?
Advertising revenue for medical publications has been declining over recent years
and we now need to charge a subscription to ensure the quality of the publication
can be maintained. The regular subscription prices for these publications is $470
including GST. Your subscription is a 75 per cent discount on this price.
2. Where do I find my MCNZ?
This is your Medical Council of New Zealand registration number.
3. My details are not correct. What should I do?
If you change your details on the form these will automatically be updated on the
subscriber database.
4. I don’t want to get both New Zealand Doctor and MIMS New Ethicals
– can I subscribe to one at a lower price?
Unfortunately no. The bundled subscription for New Zealand Doctor and MIMS New Ethicals
is already highly discounted.
5 Are any further discounts available?
Yes. Reduced subscriptions are available were more than one subscription is ordered,
or where a subscription is ordered for two years. Details are given on the website.
6. Can the practice have a subscription in its own name?
The practice can – but not at this special price. This subscripton rate is for GPs
only.
7. Can I have my subscription posted to my home address?
Yes, you can choose to receive your subscription at your home address or work address.
8. I’m a GP locum. Am I eligible for this deal?
Yes.
9. I’m a GP locum and I’ve already paid a locum subscription for
New Zealand Doctor. How do I get MIMS New Ethicals?
If your subscription is less than six months old you can pay the difference between
the locum subscription and the bundled subscription. If it is older than six months
you will need to pay the bundled subscription rate to receive MIMS New Ethicals
in addition to New Zealand Doctor.
10. How much will the subscription be if I subscribe at a later
date?
After the 8 October a single subscription for New Zealand Doctor and MIMS New Ethicals
will be $150.
11. Can I give you my credit card details over the phone?
No, unfortunately we need you to fill in the subscription forms.
