Pegasus boss turned health consultant Paul McCormack believes
health has done well out of a difficult Budget.
However, the Budget is unlikely to stem the tide of health
professionals leaving the country, Dr McCormack says.
Having said that, he believes a culture change would do more to
stem that tide rather than money, he says.
"The real opportunity is to look at the way we work
together."
Dr McCormack says he's disappointed to see the $245 million on
health infrastructure go into hospitals and operating theatres
rather than primary care.
