Media release from Auckland Regional DHBs
The judgment has re-affirmed that the Auckland regional District
Health Boards (ARDHBs) handled all processes appropriately and
commercially and the contract has been restored. The interim
contractual arrangements with DML anticipated this outcome.
The current provider will continue until Healthscope takes over
and DML agreed to act in good faith and co-opoerate to ensure a
smooth transition.
The ARDHBs is talking to the new and current provider to work out
transitional arrangements.
The ARDHBs are committed to working with all parties, including
the staff, to ensure continuity of a quality community laboratory
service that best meets the needs of Aucklanders.
