Calling all vocationally registered GPs with an interest in youth health!

We have two positions available - job share considered for both positions.

• School Based Health Services (SBHS) - Lead GP role (4 hours per week) and 4 hours per week in a School Based Health Service.
• Part-time GP – The Youth Health Clinic, Henderson (between 4 and up to 20 hours per week)

Two exciting opportunities have arisen at Te Puna Manawa HealthWEST for youth friendly general practitioners to join our team, providing an exceptional standard of care to Rangatahi in the WDHB region.

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated GPs. Days and sessions are negotiable for the right candidates in line with the service needs.
The ideal candidates will be vocationally registered and passionate about delivering culturally informed interventions for Rangatahi and their whānau. You will need to be an excellent communicator, able to establish a good rapport with young people from diverse backgrounds, as well as sound clinical competence, and familiarity with using the HEeADSSS assessment tool. Great IT skills and proficient knowledge of Medtech desirable.
