Howick House Medical has an exciting opportunity for a full-time practice
manager to lead and work alongside our friendly team of GPs, practice
nurses and receptionists. We are proud to have provided full family practice care for over 40 years to
the Howick community. We are Cornerstone accredited and are members of
East Health PHO. Reporting to the partners this position will have a pivotal role in ensuring that
the practice operates effectively and successfully meeting the healthcare
needs of our community. This role will require a key performer who has:

• Familiarity with general practice and a proven record of managing a diverse team
• Strong leadership skills with the capability to motivate and lead the team to achieve goals
• The ability to take ownership for the day to day operational management of the medical centre
• A passion to improve the business
• Ability to work alongside and build relationships with a wide variety of stakeholders
• Experience in financial management
• Strong computer literacy in Medtech32
• Familiarity and/or experience with Xero, Ace Payroll and Microsoft Office

This position will ideally suit an existing practice manager or someone with practice management experience in a healthcare environment.
