GP education role (Clinical Facilitator) 12-16 hours a week

• Are you passionate about an integrated approach to healthcare?
• Do you value high quality education?
• Are you keen to use your expertise in a different way?

Pegasus Health is an association of GPs and practice nurses who work closely with allied health professionals in primary care. Our Clinical Quality and Education group supports general practice and pharmacy teams by providing independent, robust, evidence-informed education that encourages peer discussion, patient-centred care, and teamwork.

We need another GP to help develop content for the Small Group Education Programme, produce bulletins, and respond to clinical and public health issues affecting primary care. We would like you to also continue working in a clinical role, so you can share firsthand knowledge of issues and challenges facing your colleagues. We offer flexible working hours to help you achieve this.

You will have sound literature searching and critical appraisal skills (although we can
teach you these), and have experience interpreting and conveying quantitative data. Your written work must be excellent and you will be very attentive to detail, have highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to develop
relationships with a variety of people.
