Student Health Services
Student Services Division

The role of the Student Health Centre is to provide high quality, responsive and cost effective services to students. Our mission is to enable students to pursue their academic endeavours with minimal hindrance from medical, emotional and psychological problems, by providing affordable, accessible and comprehensive health services.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team. We provide high quality General Practice care to students from attractive modern premises on the campus. The practice population is mainly young adults, therefore experience in youth and sexual health and adolescent mental health would be an advantage. The University also has a significant number of mature students and a large group of international students.

An interest in Māori health issues and sports medicine are also preferred. An attractive remuneration package will be offered to reflect qualifications, skills and experience and will include the costs of Medical Indemnity cover, Annual Practising Certificate and RNZCGP membership. We encourage active participation in RNZCGP Fellowship training or the Maintenance of Professional Standards programme.

We offer flexible hours, no after-hours calls, a beautiful campus environment and support towards continuing medical education. In addition, you will work with and enjoy excellent nursing and administrative support.

There are 34 hours of work per week available. These could be shared by more than one practitioner. Please indicate in your application the hours you are available to work.

The position will remain open until filled. For more information and to apply, visit our website.
