I appreciate in the well staffed, well paid leafy suburbs of Wellington where this was hatched this will work however in the GP Ghettos around the country the lack of workforce and therefore capacity will be a major problem.

I do welcome funding following the work that's dumped on us for a change however!

If this is done properly with appropriate funding attached and we have the workforce required in Primary Care then great, bring it on. If it is an excuse to dump more work on GPs with poor funding attached then no thanks! It would be helpful to get the current Secondary Care dump of work funded properly before we take on more.
