Clinical Director for Westcare White Cross Henderson

Westcare White Cross Henderson is a dedicated 24 hr Urgent Care facility serving the population of West Auckland.

Key responsibilties are:

  • Provide leadership, direction and governance in the Urgent Care Clinic to provide high quality healthcare services for our patients, consistent with White Cross policy.
  • Ensure clinical services are delivered effectively, efficiently and to the required quality standard. • Ensure cost effective health care while not compromising quality.
  • Display a patient-focussed approach to clinical duties ensuring that the patient comes first.
  • Ensuring clinical credibility is earned and maintained.
  • Lead by example by setting high clinical standards for other doctors in the clinic to meet.
  • Maintain a high standard of medical skill, knowledge and attitudes by pursuing ongoing education and training in the field of urgent care to a level that ensures competent and safe practice.
  • To be responsible for the primary liaison between White Cross and the patient's GP regarding the patient's treatment in cases of clinical concern.

  • A current or pending Fellow of the RNZCUC Seeking full time employment( min 8/10ths)
  • An experienced and skilled physician keen to be part of the management team
  • Holder of a MCNZ Practicing Certificate and able to practice legally in NZ
