6,000 international students and 2,500 who live in University accommodation.
The University Health and Counselling Service delivers a range of primary care services to help students prevent and overcome personal difficulties relating to their physical and mental wellbeing, and in so doing helps them to achieve
their full potential at the University.
We are looking for a General Practitioner to provide competent, patient-centred primary care within UHCS to ensure the delivery of high quality health services to students that addresses health needs, promotes wellness, is based on latest evidence and guidelines, and meets legislative requirements.
This is a 0.6 or 0.8 FTE permanent position with Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday as mandatory days. It is based at our City Campus clinic.
You will report to the Medical Lead, and work closely with the Counselling and Nurse teams to ensure a cohesive approach to the delivery of holistic and integrated University Health and Counselling Service.
