This is an exciting role for a registered nurse with experience in general practice who wants to use their skills and experience to:

• Be the key point of contact for allocated Auckland PHO general practices to support their needs in delivering services in line with best practice,
evidence based approaches and contractual obligations;
• Provide support, guidance and expertise to general practice teams to facilitate achievement of System Level Measures;
• Support general practice teams to achieve the RNZCGP Quality Standard Aiming for Excellence or Cornerstone Accreditation;
• Work with subject matter experts within Auckland PHO and with other partner organisations and stakeholders to identify issues and challenges
as they arise and then address these proactively;
• Lead the development of the practice nurse workforce, promoting ongoing education, peer groups and ongoing professional development

To be successful in this role you will need:

• To be a registered nurse with an annual practicing certificate
• General Practice/Primary care experience
• Practice Management Systems experience – familiar with MedTech32
• Experience in achieving Cornerstone accreditation
• A current driver’s licence
