BreastNet NZ is your trusted source for breast cancer information.

BreastNet is a new information portal offering New Zealand-specific pathway and treatment information for GPs advising women with breast cancer, or those worried about symptoms or risk. Until now, there has been no singular resource to assist health professionals caring for patients, making referrals or assessing individual risk for breast cancer.

BreastNet.NZ includes unique clinical tools and New Zealand statistics in its search-driven knowledge base. These combine to help empower conversations with patients about their needs.

BreastNet NZ includes two new and exclusive New Zealand-specific clinical tools.

• An individual risk calculator designed to help inform patient discussions and decisions about individual risk,
• A 70+ screening decision support tool to help older women decide whether to continue with breast screening.

BreastNet has been reviewed by a panel of healthcare professionals. Feedback to date has been positive. Clinicians have appreciated its ease of use and expansive database of breast cancer information.
