This budget will be a sad day for General Practice. The Access practices will get their CSC holders funded at $18, which has been lobbied for rather than equity in funding in the sector for a long time. I can't see the VLCA practices going without so they will get a funding boost of sorts (!) and that will be "job done" as far as a funding review goes.

Practices like ours in Whangarei will be left unable to compete against the surrounding VLCA competition and the VLCA empires will continue their Government subsidised decimation of surrounding Access practices, protected from competition. A dark day for General Practice I'm sorry.
