Christchurch PHO appoints new chairperson

The Board of Christchurch PHO is delighted to announce the appointment of Lloyd Mander as an Independent Director and Chairperson of the PHO.

Lloyd is an experienced company director with a specialist focus on governance leadership in small-to-medium-sized enterprises. He is Chair of Bellbird Hearing, Advisory Board Chair for the Centre for Good Work, and a member of the Advisory Committee at St George’s Hospital.

Lloyd also serves on the National Council of the NZ Institute of Directors, where he is the Chair of the Membership Committee and is a member of the Standards Committee.

After three years of successfully guiding the PHO as Chairperson, Dr Jason Pryke elected, at the recent AGM to stand down from the role of Chair. Dr Pryke will remain on the PHO Board as a GP representative.

The Christchurch PHO Board continues to have a strong provider and community focus consisting of members representing General Practitioners, Practice Nursing, Māori, and our community.
