CareHQ, the virtual GP service and joint venture between ProCare and Southern Cross Health Insurance, has announced the appointment of Regan Savage as new Board Chair.
Savage, Chief Sales Marketing & Customer Experience Officer at Southern Cross Health Society currently serves as Director of the CareHQ Board. Prior to Southern Cross Regan led the Unite Against COVID-19 campaign from within the Department of PM & Cabinet, had two years at Trade Me including a year as Chief Customer Officer, and was previously GM of Marketing at Kiwibank.
Group Chief Executive at ProCare and outgoing CareHQ Chair, Bindi Norwell, who will remain on the Board as Director said: “As I hand the Chair rākau (baton) to Regan, I know he is going to bring great energy and insight to the role and support our ambition to continue to grow the service, which last financial year delivered care to more than 43,000 patients, up 78% on the year prior”.
Savage said: “I’m looking forward to working more closely with the CareHQ management team and fellow Directors to support their mahi while on such a rapid growth trajectory. With limited access to primary care in some parts of the motu, CareHQ’s team of dedicated doctors provide valuable support to practices and patients alike.”
